Last Lap - Last Turn - Top Five.
A 4th in the conclusion of the White Mountain event on 5/8 plus the 2nd at Speedway 95 puts Johnny into a tie with Ben Rowe for the first place in the PASS points standings with 432 points.

A quick stop for a round of adjustment to the sway bar at the the first caution gave the #54 the speed Johnny needed to run to the front. The final four lap shoot-out saw Johnny pick up a spot and wind up right behind the top three.
PASS Race 1 at White Mtn. Halted by Rain
With the #54 back on the track for the first time in 2004, Johnny and Bobby spent the White Mountain practice sessions working hard to tune the chassis for some speed. Steadily they gained ground and were rewarded with a 7th place run in time trials, posting a 12.272.

The Dash Redraw moved the 54 up to the 5th spot. Gaining two places in the dash put Johnny into 3rd for the feature behind pole sitter Sam Sessions and Cassius Clark.

At the green the 54 settled into 4th and survived the scramble when a lapped car got caught in the middle of the groove by the entire pack.

As the rain began, Johnny was about the only one trying to run high. A couple of slips on the wetter high line, dropped the 54 back to 10th as the red came out.

The remainder of the D-J Equipment 150 will now be run at 1:30 on Saturday, May 8th.
