OXFORD PLAINS SPEEDWAY - APRIL 29TH - 4TH

A fourth place finish at the PASS North season opener at Oxford was actually a remarkable finish for Johnny and the #54 sporting it's sharp new black and red scheme.

A poor draw placed the #54 at the back of the heat and led to a full stop to avoid a wreck and then on a restart being driven over and having the right rear fender ripped off. Transfer to the feature via a Conci left Johnny about 25th on the grid.

During the 150, multiple stops for chassis adjustments got the #54 dialed in and Johnny kept out of trouble in a race that saw many of the top PASS contenders run into trouble and post poor finishes. During the last third of the race, Johnny marched from mid-pack towards the front to grab a solid fourth spot.
