Oxford Plains - July 1st - 6TH

A broken axle discovered in a spin before the heat started made the July 1st Oxford race a challenge indeed. Starting only a couple of spots up from dead last in a 34 car field, Johnny had a long way to go to reach a solid points-paying position. With a steady pace and measured moves Johnny
worked his way by some twenty-five cars in one of the most competitive PASS North races ever. The sixth place finish - and some bad luck for others (Johnny has his bad luck at Canaan with a shattered rear brake disk) - puts the #54 back in the top four in the points chase.
