With
the win in heat #1, Johnny started on the pole for
the final PASS North SLM
race of the season. The
#54 took the lead at the green and held it for 16
laps until a charging Scott Mulkern in the #84 got
by. The #54 faded as the race went on so Johnny hit
the pits for some adjustments. But with no
improvement Johnny went a lap down for a 16th place
finish. |

Rain hit in the middle of the Sunday WMMP event. SML
heats had been completed, with Johnny knocked into
the main straight for a finish at the back. Twin
150s will now be run for the Super Late Models at
the August 31st White Mountain event. |

With the #54 running well in practice
and responding to tuning, Johnny's confidence was
rewarded with a win in his heat and the outside pole
starting position.
At the green, Johnny
stayed in the top three or five as Alexandre Gingras
#27qc and
Martin Latulippe #84qc held the lead.
With 14 cautions, short runs, and many Lucky Dog lap
give backs most cars remained on the lead lap.
Johnny had the lead and was pulling clear of the
#84qc when a flat right front took him up the
banking in turn two and triggered caution #13.
Back on track, Johnny raced up to 8th even with a
left front that was down to five pounds.
Many cars had flats during the race, possibly due to
gravel thrown on the surface by cars spinning into
the insides of the turns. |

PASS NORTH 2013 |

Six-time PASS North Champion Johnny Clark and the
Clark Motorsports Team are hard at work prepping the
#54s for a run at the 2013 North title.
Johnny is especially looking forward to the July
TD Bank 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway which has
returned to Super Late Model cars in 2013 with the
purchase of OPS by PASS president Tommy Mayberry.
The Autobus La Quebecoise
TRIPLE CROWN at Autodrome Chaudiere in
Vallee-Jonction, Quebec, Canada will be a mini
series within the PASS North tour with substantial
purses and a $30,000 bonus point fund for those that
run the three events in May, August, and September.
Winston Cup star Kyle Busch will be racing in the
Tuesday, August 6th TC event. With a win in
2011 and a 5th in 2012 at Chaudiere, Johnny in
looking for a great showing in the TRIPLE.
Another highlight of 2013 will be the Speedway 660
June race in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada
where Johnny will be going for FOUR Wins in a row.
The PASS North Tour will visit 6 tracks for 14
races in 2013 with four of the tracks hosting three
